So many of our children are robbed of their innocence – either through too early exposure to inappropriate media, or through extreme poverty and trauma in the home and community: abandonment, abuse, molestation, lack of parental support, witnessing violence and more. But even when children grow up in more protected environments, they will benefit from becoming aware of themselves as a soul that has a body, rather than just as a body with a particular identity.

This course is facilitated by a yogi and includes creative visualisation, deep relaxation, mindfulness exercises, positive affirmations and being still and reflective. It is a wonderful way to introduce meditation to children.

Who is this for?

This course was designed for children aged 6 to 14. It is particularly beneficial for angry or depressed children who face many challenges, who lack discipline or who are suicidal.

We also offer the course at schools, orphanages and community organisations, on request. Teachers, caregivers and parents are encouraged to be present and to assist with the exercises.
