Enjoy this guilt free … environment friendly cake.  This is a flop proof yummy basic cake that is dairy free …


3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup oil
4 tsp  baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
60 ml vinegar
2 cups boiling water
2 tblspns custard powder  ( if you making it into a chocolate cake replace with 1/2 cup coco)
1 tsp vanilla essence

Mix all together and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees celsius

Vegan Topping Suggestions
1). Cook the pineapple rings with a bit of cinnamon powder  – when soft decorate after the cake has been baked.  Add crushed pecan nuts.

2) Whip up olywhip

3) Water icing especially when the cake is a chocolate cake and add coco with coffee
