THE QUEST FOR WELL-BEING

Using your 8 powers

By Anthony Strano

Power has so many aspects, all intertwined like the threads in a tapestry. We cannot separate one from another because the tapestry as a whole depends on each thread being used in the right way, at the right place. So, although this book describes eight powers – Introspection, Discernment, Decision-making, Courage, Letting go, Tolerance, Adjustment and Co-operation – many more powers intertwine with them to bring about well-being. These eight powers must also interweave between themselves if they are to be effective.

When we start to tap into these positive qualities and use them to inform our everyday behaviour, we will become truly powerful. We will inhabit a state of consciousness in which we are not influenced by negativity in any form — we no longer experience feelings of selfishness or violence, dislike, anger, revenge or resentment. Freeing the mind and heart from negativity, past and present, brings peace. And peace leads to another quality so essential for these current times: stability. Stability helps us to maintain order and balance in life.
